TOYS: DST re-issues popular figures

I didn’t get into collecting action figures until about a decade ago, and didn’t get into the Marvel Select toys until two years ago. Unfortunately, that means if I want to track down a favorite figure from days gone by, I’m going to have to surf the web and probably pay a high price. Today, Diamond Select Toys announced it is re-issuing some of the more popular figures, and that is a big plus for toy collectors.

MOVIES: More Marvel properties return to the House of Mouse/Ideas

A while ago it was confirmed that Daredeveil had indeed returned to the hands of Marvel due to 20th Century Fox not being able to keep the property in production long enough to retain the rights. Today, we learn about three more properties that have been returned to Marvel (Disney).

TALK BACK: Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance

This weekend, the sequel to the 2007 Ghost Rider flick flew into theaters.

In the successor to the worldwide hit “Ghost Rider”, Johnny still struggling with his curse as the devil’s bounty hunter is hiding out in a remote part of Eastern Europe when he is recruited by a secret sect of the church to save a young boy from the devil. At first, Johnny is reluctant to embrace the power of the Ghost Rider, but it is the only way to protect the boy and possibly rid himself of the curse forever.

MOVIES: Ghost Rider 2: Spirit of Vengeance television spot appears

Did you know there was a new Ghost Rider movie coming out? I did, but did my best to try and forget all about it. H’wood doesn’t want you to forget about it either, which is why there is a new television spot for Ghost Rider 2: Spirit of Vengeance now airing.

MOVIE: Ghost Rider is on fire… or a Blaze if you want to push the pun further

Empire has the first official photos from the upcoming Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance movie, and though I liked the look of the first Ghost Rider pics when they appeared years ago, I really like the smokey burnt Rider we see here.

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance stars Nicolas Cage and is set to arrive in theaters February 22, 2012.
