It’s the last week of villain’s month and the latest issue of The Dark Knight is becoming the hardest to find 3-D cover. More importantly, it introduces us to Joker’s Daughter. Is she as twisted, insane and classy as her “father”? Find out after the jump!
Or – “Can She Really Hold Down A Day Job?”
After her recent pregnancy-that-turned-out-to-be-a-robot-body scare, Buffy Summers has quit her dead-end gig as a barista to take on a more challenging career. Given her job history, though, I’m not entirely convinced that she’s ready for the job market. Your Major Spoilers review awaits!
In this issue: The Major Spoilers Crew goes outside their comfort zone and takes a look at The Adventures of Tintin. The poll of the week asks you to decide between your two favorite wisecracking robots, and plenty of reviews (including an exclusive advanced review). It’s all in this issue of the Major Spoilers Podcast!
Show Notes after the Jump!
I’m really excited to see Dustin Nguyen and Paul Dini team back up for some really good Batman stories, and apparently DC wants to feed that appetite with a sneak peek of Batman: Streets of Gotham #1 that arrives June 17, 2009.
If you haven’t taken a peek at the Jos Medors Benefit Auction now up on eBay, give it a peek, as there are some really great pieces up for sale, all going to a good cause.
From Dave Kopecki
Contributing artists include Frank Frazetta, Nat Jones, Tim Seeley, Mike Allred, Josh Medors (of course), Ben Templesmith, Steve Kurth, Nick Bradshaw, Mark Kidwell, Andrew Mangum, Ryan Winn, Richard Moore, Randy Kintz, Ken Haeser, Buz Hassen, Colleen Doran, Phil Hester, John Stinsman, Russ Maheras, Matt Martin, Rob Doria, and many more.
Because of the collectors who donated art, we also have great pieces by artists who weren’t able to contribute themselves, like Dave Finch, Tyler Kirkham, Khoi Pham, Jason Howard, John Romita Jr, Ethan Van Sciver,Georges Jeanty, Scott Clark, Steve McNiven, and so many more! Plus, there was a huge number of largely unknown and/or amateur artists who donated some great work, so there should be great art for every price range! And with how much we’ll be listing, you may get an unheard of deal on some of these goodies, on top of helping a good cause.
Please take a look at the auctions on Ebay running all this week, and maybe throw down a bid or two. The cause is noble, the art and selection is great, and together we can make a difference!
Yes, we can.

One of these days I would really love for this little site to win an Eisner Award – that would be a most awesome achievement. Until that day, congrats to Newsarama for winning the award in the Best Comics-Related Periodical/Journalism, and congrats to everyone else who picked up one of these coveted awards last night.
