San Diego Comic Con International 2009 will take center stage as Aspen Comics unveils brand new titles and debuts a host of exciting SDCC exclusives and more for the largest comic book convention in the world. In addition to rare convention comic books, Aspen is arriving in San Diego in full force to meet and greet with the fans. Frank Mastromauro, Peter Steigerwald, Vince Hernandez, Mark Roslan, J.T. Krul, Joe Benitez, Ale Garza, Micah Gunnell, Beth Sotelo, Francisco Herrera, and more surprise Aspen guests will be on-hand all weekend long to sign autographs and sketch at the Aspen Comics Booth #2321.

SDCC’09: Mark Waid to sign Irredeemable #4 variant

Boom! Studios Editor-in-Chief, Mark Waid will be signing exclusive Comic-Con ’09 copies of Irredeemable #4, and a limited edition hardcover of The Incredibles: Family Matters.  The Irredeemable issue features a sketch variant cover by John Cassaday, while the Incredibles hardcover features art by Mike Mignola.

Ghost Whisperer Turns to iTunes for Digital Distribution

(San Diego, December 1, 2008)  IDW Publishing and iVerse Media are proud to announce the immediate availability of Ghost Whisperer: The Haunted #1 in the iTunes App Store.  This five-issue comic book miniseries, licensed from CBS Consumer Products, is based on the hit CBS series starring Jennifer Love Hewitt as Melinda Gordon, the medium who helps ghosts cross over.  “Ghost Whisperer: The Haunted” is written by Carrie Smith and Becca Smith, who are both writers on the CBS series, and features art by Elena Casagrande.
