MSP#100 Prize Group Two

More prizes continue to be uncovered in the warren that is the Major Spoilers Warehouse of Prizes.

Box, the box, what’s in the box?

There are, in fact, a couple of boxes that contain magical wonderful prizes.

Question: Will you win one during the Major Spoilers Podcast issue #100 extravaganza to be held at 8:00 PM CDT Tuesday May 26, 2009?

Answer: You’ll only find out if you call (785) 727 1939 or Skype (Stephen Schleicher) during the live show.

New Harry Potter trailer released

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is another in the big summer movie extravaganza, and it opens July 17, 2009.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer has done really well in comic book form, and even though we won’t see Harry Potter comics in the near future, I do wonder how many comic book readers are fans of the Harry Potter books?  How many of the Major Spoiler Legion are going to see the Half Blood Prince?

Major Spoilers LIVE! 8:00PM CDT

majorspoilerslive.jpg

Tonight, the Major Spoilers Crew of Stephen and Rodrigo (and maybe even Matthew if he is home on time) will be streaming a live pre-show/bonus episode of the Major Spoilers Podcast. We’ll start the Ustream feed around 8:00 PM Central Daylight Time (CDT), where we’ll talk about the new Star Trek movie, answer questions from the chat room, and talk with those who call in live to the show.

This live show event is all part of the tests Major Spoilers is conducting, leading up to our 100th podcast extravaganza!

If you get a chance, join us for the show.  I’ll put the feed on the front page of Major Spoilers for all to view.  It will only be up during the live feed, so if you miss it, you’ll have to wait until the show is posted on Saturday.

Dark Knight Passes $500 Million

It was another three day weekend that allowed movie goers to flood into theaters to catch the end of the summer movie block buster extravaganza and push The Dark Knight beyond the $500 million mark domestically.  While not even close to the vast fortune amassed by billionaire Bruce Wayne, the film has done so well, it now sits as only the second film in history to make this much money, surpassing Star Wars Episode IV, with only Titanic left to beat.  Considering summer is over and Dark Knight would have to make another $140 million before the DVD release, I don’t see the film ever taking the number one spot.
