There was a time I could tell you anything and everything about The Walt Disney company, their films, their business practices, and anything you cared to know about their characters. Sadly, too much boozing and being beatdown by upper middle management have forced most of those ideas and facts from my simple mind. I remember reading somewhere long ago about the 1928 Oswald the Lucky Rabbit short, Hungry Hobos, but I had forgotten all about it. Seems The Walt Disney Animation Studios forgot about the animated piece, too, but fortunately, the lost print has been found and restored.

Matthew and I have pondered just how the world of Cars works. Thanks to Jake Parker we now know what the insides of Mater, and Lightning McQueen look like… and it isn’t pretty in a pretty sort of way.

The Walt Disney Studios today announced that the Avengers sequel (currently titled: Untitled Marvel’s Avengers Sequel) is set for a release date of May 01, 2015. Joss Whedon once again returns to write and direct the movie.

In order for 20th Century Fox to keep the Daredevil franchise, the studio needs to be in production by October 10, 2012. Joe Carnahan had a gritty take on the character set in the ’70s, but the studio turned the idea down.
Now on the internet are two sizzle reels that were used to give the studios a feel for what he was aiming for.

Good news for fans of Marvel’s The Avengers, Disney has confirmed that Joss Whedon is returning to write and direct Avengers 2.

A couple of weeks ago, we told you that 20th Century Fox was running the risk of losing the Daredevil property due to the director ditching the movie at the last minute. There’s a new twist in the tale, that may have Marvel giving Daredevil a pass in order to get bigger characters.
