The Darkness gets new writer in 2012

Beginning in March 2012, Hine brings his considerable experience to torturing one of comics’ favorite bad boys, Jackie Estacado. David joins Detective Comics creative partner, Jeremy Haun (ARTIFACTS, PILOT SEASON: THE BEAUTY) as the ongoing team on THE DARKNESS beginning with issue #101.

SDCC’09: Harry Knowles hosts Radical panel

At SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON INTERNATIONAL 2009, Radical Publishing will be featuring an all-star panel with top talent from both the comic and entertainment industry. Hosted by Ain’t It Cool News’ founder and head geek, Harry Knowles, the Radical Creators Panel will treat fans to a preview of upcoming Radical projects as well as the opportunity to hear some exclusive announcements on Friday, July 24th from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. in Room 4. Guests who arrive at the panel will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a pair of passes to the Radical Event at the Hard Rock Hotel. The lucky winner will be announced at the end of the panel.

Radical Publishing increases page count

Radical Publishing has announced a brand new campaign it is calling Bigger Books! Bigger Value!  The aim is to increase the number of pages of its books, while keeping the price at $4.99.  Series like Incarnate by Nick Simmons will get a 56-page jump, Federal Vampire and Zombie Agency by David Hine, will get 64-pages, and Earp: Saints and Sinners from Matt Cirulnick and M. Zachary Sherman will jump to 72-pages.

The $4.99 campaign kicks off in August.
