So the Major Spoilers Costume Contest deadline is quickly approaching, and though we have a ton of excellent entries this year, there is still time for you to enter and win an iPad2.
The one person who hasn’t entered the contest is Augsburgdiet1530, who last year built this awesome Skeksis costume based on the character from The Dark Crystal. Fortunately, he posted a video on YouTube where he scares the crap out of his friends.

Over at the Atomic Robo website, the Robo creators have posted an image of the most kick-assiest kick-ass costume of Atomic Robo. Devin has done some tremendous work (more pics after the jump), and I’m hoping he enters the Third Annual Major Spoilers Costume Contest when it kicks off next month.
Those of you who are planning to dress up as your favorite Marvel character and you’re heading to San Diego Comic-Con, you might want to enter the Marvel Costume Contest.
If you have the heroic (or villainous) qualities to participate in this exciting contest, make sure to be at the Marvel Booth (#2429) by 3:30 PM to register! All you need to do is wear a costume of your favorite Marvel character (but keep it family friendly!) and you could win the Grand Prize of a Marvel Omnibus signed by Stan Lee! All entrants may also be featured in a gallery on Marvel.Com! The winner will be determined by you, the fans, as you vote on who you want to be crowned this year’s winner!
The event takes place on Friday July 24, at 4:00 PM.
