Image Comics sent Major Spoilers a sneak peek of Dead @ 17: Afterbirth #2, and The Walking Dead #63, both arriving in stores on Wednesday July 15, 2009.

Everyone seemed to really take to our This Bear Reads Comics image posted earlier today, and many asked for a T-Shirt or other product featuring the cute cuddly polar bear that they could snatch up and buy.
Your wish is granted. We changed the design slightly to ensure we don’t get sued by a certain big comic book company.
The Major Spoilers Merch Store now features the T-Shirt design for men, women, and children. And unlike the F’Continuity! shirt, you can change the color of these to your liking.
Here’s the breakdown of the Men’s Tee
Product Details
Men’s Heavyweight T-Shirt
This men’s t-shirt has a relaxed but tailored fit. The seamless rib collar with double-needle cover-stitching, shoulder to shoulder taping, double-needle sleeve and bottom hem make it a durable wear. Made from 100% cotton with a fabric weight of 6.1 oz.
Now it is up to you, head over to the Major Spoilers Merch Store (it’s over there on the right column) and purchase some stuff so we can keep this site going a while longer.

Nick Spencer set me an email about his upcoming title from Image Comics, called Existence 2.0. Instead of just talking about it, Nick suggested we run an 11 page preview of the issue just for you! And, as anyone who’s read this site for any length of time knows, I loves me some sneak peeks.

Marcus Perry posted a sneak peek of the upcoming Descendant series over in the Major Spoilers Forum. Instead of keeping the goodness only for those select few who have taken the time to register and join, I figured why not share it with everyone.
Check out these elements from the upcoming Spawn Origins, Volume 1 collection arriving next week. There is a new trade dress, that gives some indication as to the direction all of Image Comics trades will take.

Press Release
25 March 2009 (Berkeley, CA) – Image Comics, Nathan Edmondson and Christian Ward reveal the secret life of the gods through the eyes of the Brothers Gemini in OLYMPUS, an all-new full color ongoing series beginning this May!
“Christian Ward and I created OLYMPUS as a barrel of powder, and along came the good folks at Image with the match,” Edmondson said. “To see our living vision presented to the world by such an excellent and widely-received publisher is an honor.”
OLYMPUS begins with the Brothers Gemini, 3,000 years after Zeus has granted them eternal life in exchange for eternal servitude, hunting an exiled god, only to stumble upon a greater horror by accidentally releasing one of Hades’ most dangerous prisoners. The results explode as Edmondson and Ward expand the mythology of classic tales in a fresh, compelling visual style in an action-adventure driven series unlike any other out there.
OLYMPUS #1 (MAR092402), a 24-page full color comic book for $2.99, will be in-stores May 20th, 2009.

Those wanting to get their children addicted to comics, but wary of titles that may not be appropriate for the young’uns, might want to check out Image Comics Silverline Book’s Evil and Malice by Jimmie Robinson.
“A definitive collection of EVIL & MALICE has been a long time coming and I’m very happy it’s with the folks at Silverline Books,” Robinson said in a prepared statement. “Over the years I’ve heard a lot of demand for a superhero series older readers could share with their younger siblings, nieces and nephews. Considering Shadowline’s continued pushes into the younger reader market with their own Silverline Books division, they seemed like the right home to bring back EVIL & MALICE. I’m highly anticipating its upcoming reception with fans – new and old alike!”
EVIL & MALICE: SAVE THE WORLD collects the entire story of Evelyn and Malinda, the 13-year old twin daughters of an infamous (but soft-hearted) villian, The Black Eye. Once a collective of villains makes life miserable for dad, Evelyn and Malinda take it upon themselves to strike back — as superheroes! They’re quickly thrown into a madcap race against time until their father discovers their identities and grounds them for life!
The 128 page trade will street for $14.99 when it arrives in stores May 20, 2009.
