Top Cow Announces Cyberforce/Hunter-Killer Crossover

01picon.jpg

This summer, Top Cow Productions will launch a huge limited crossover series featuring the cybernetic killers of Cyberforce, and the Ultra Sapiens of Hunter-Killers.  While the storyline is being kept a secret, we do know Mark Waid will be writing with Kenneth Rocafort providing all the art.

“I can’t wait to work with Kenneth again,” said Waid in a prepared statement. “He blew my mind when I first saw his Hunter-Killer pages during the first run. To be brutally honest, it’s rare that I see a new artist whose work doesn’t feel redundant or a clone of something else already out there. Kenneth’s energy knocks me out.”

“This is a dream come true to draw one of my favorite teams of all time, Cyberforce,” said Rocafort, who was a fan of Top Cow books well before he started drawing for them. “And to combine that with the characters of Hunter-Killer, which I love to draw, and working with Mark again, this is an exciting project for me.”

Take the jump for a Cyberforce/Hunter-Killer pin-up and character sketches from Rocafort.

Review: Terra #2

See what happens when you don’t read all your comics the day they are released?

terra2picon.jpg

Hey, I know this past week saw the release of Terra #3, but I realized when I sat down to read the issue, that I hadn’t had the pleasure of reading Terra #2.  Don’t ask me how that works, but needless to say, I think I was blinded by the incredible cover, and was temporarily mind warped into believing I had enjoyed ever page.  Now that the purple haze has cleared, here’s your belated review, with the Major Spoilers tease that is becoming more and more common around here – “better late than never”.

Power Girl the Action Figure

powergirlgalatea.jpg

Okay, so it is more like the Kara clone Galatea from the Justice League Unlimited, but it is probably the closest thing we’re going to get to a JLU figure based on the busty heroine.

There are a lot more photos of the new JLU figures (including Captain Atom and a well done Giganta) over at Action Figure Insider.

All of the photos were taken by con attendees, which reminds me; Did anyone go to the show and want to share their photos? Contact Stephen Schleicher and we’ll get them up for all to see.
