Padmé Amidala and C-3PO make a memorable entrance in their STAR WARS: THE CLONES series debuts in “Destroy Malevolence,†an all-new animated episode premiering at 9 p.m. ET/PT Friday, Oct. 17, on Cartoon Network.
In the episode – the final act of a three-episode arc – Padmé and C-3PO are taken hostage by General Grievous, leaving Anakin and Obi-Wan to save the Senator and complete the destruction of the Malevolence.
However, Catherine Taber (American Werewolf in Paris, “Crank Yankersâ€) feels that Padmé is anything but a conventional damsel in distress.
