Those of you old enough may remember the ‘90’s event, Maximum Carnage that took place across multiple Spider-Man titles. And you may also have chosen (or wished) to forget Maximum Carnage. Now Marvel is bringing us the mini-event (don’t you love puns?) Minimum Carnage, but is it anything like what came before it? Major Spoilers finds out!

Marvel celebrates 70th Anniversary at local comic shops

While the Marvel banner hasn’t been around for 70 years (Marvel proper began in 1961, but Timely Publications goes all the way back to 1939), Marvel will host a 70th Anniversary celebration at comic book stores across the nation on August 11, 2009.  Sounds like a good time, until the announcement that Marvel was sending creators and Marvel characters not to the LCS, but to Barnes & Noble book stores.  That’s sure to cause some controversy among all the fun.

Marvel Sneak Peek: Ender’s Game: Battle School #1

New Horror Title From Th3rd World Studios

Arriving in stores this September is Th3rd World Studios’ latest release – Creature Feature.  The first issue of the 48-page anthology features stories by industry veterans like CB Cebulski, Chris Yost, Andy Schmidt, Stuart Moore, Leah Moore, John Reppion and Brian Smith.
