Having helped revive the Fast & Furious franchise, WWE Champion The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) has been injected in to the GI Joe franchise. G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra was pretty darn bad, incredibly dumb, shoddy effects, and deviated too far from my understanding of the “source material” (I mostly played with Star Wars toys). You can’t polish a turd, but can chucking Rocky glitter over one work?
Media for the delayed G.I. Joe sequel continues on this week with two international posters featuring the characters played by Dwayne Johnson and Bruce Willis.
John McClane has run out of bits of America to blow up, so flies to Russia to rescue and reconnect with his estranged son…and naturally gets caught up in some explosive shenanigans. Is this a good day to Die Hard, or a good day to quit?
A Good Day to Die Hard, the one millionth sequel to the Die Hard franchise, is scheduled to arrive in stores on February 14th. For those looking for a romantic movie to take your date to, this probably isn’t it. Or maybe it is… take the jump for a look at the new trailer.
I remember the first time I saw Die Hard. I was at my friend’s house, and stuff was blowing up, and then I saw the TeeVee and the Bruce Willis flick playing on the NetFlix. Since then, I’ve been anxiously awaiting the moment when I too can pull a Patton Oswalt and scream at the screen, “RUN DIE HARD! RUN!”
A Good Day To Die Hard arrives in is supposed to arrive in theaters in September 2013, so now is a good time to release the first trailer.
In Looper Joseph Gordon-Levitt is young Joe and Bruce Willis is old Joe. There is time travel, telekinesis, mobsters and corn fields. But do all these elements work?
In a week that saw Michael Clarke Duncan and Neil Armstrong pass away, it seems only natural to watch Armageddon.
The international trailer for the Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt Looper movie has hit the net, and features a few more shots we haven’t seen before.
Remember last week, when we learned that Paramount had yanked G.I. JOE: Retaliation from theaters? The official reason was to do some 3D-ifying to the flick to sell it to foreign audiences. Thanks to Deadline, we now know the real reason.
SPOILERS AHEAD… kinda…
What did the studio learn between the first G.I. Joe movie and the new one that is scheduled to arrive June 29, 2012? Maybe how to make a movie that actually looks decent?
Don’t believe me? Check out the brand new trailer!
