RUMOR: Booster Gold to SyFy?
I don’t really believe this, but thought we should pass it along for your own edification. Andrew Kreisberg, writer of the Fox series Fringe, reportedly has turned in a pilot script based on DC Comics’ Booster Gold character.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the SyFy channel has picked up the rights to Booster Gold and is planning to bring it to the small screen as a live action show.

As the build up to DC Comics’ Flashpoint continues, it’s time to start dropping clues and hints of things to come via Rip Hunter. The company released a sneak peek of Time Masters: Vanishing Point #6 that leads to Booster Gold #44, and that leads to Flashpoint #1.
TELEVISION: Booster Gold and Blue Beetle cast in Smallville
Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Eric Martsolf (Days of Our Lives) has been hired to play Booster Gold in an upcoming episode of Smallville titled “Booster”. Joining the hero from the future will be Jaren Brandt Bartlett as Jaime Reyes, the Blue Beetle. Add to this news the rumor that Ted Kord will make an appearance in the episode as well. Geoff Johns, who is writing the episode, says Kord will be played by Sebastian Spence.
It’s really too bad, Warner Bros., DC, and the CW waited until the final two season to start rolling out other DC characters. Had they done this eight years ago, we might already have a Justice League movie in theaters.
