In celebration of the 70th anniversary of Walt Disney’s Comics and Stories, “Classics are back at BOOM!” Beginning in January, WALT DISNEY’S COMICS AND STORIES #715 and MICKEY MOUSE #304 will feature some of the greatest Disney comic book stories ever told, including some that have not seen print in almost 50 years. The new initiative is the latest stage of “BOOM Kids! 2.0″ which was previously announced at the New York Comic Con.

All three titles were announced by Stan Lee during a press conference at Comic-Con International this past summer. STAN LEE’S SOLDIER ZERO #1 opened to record sales and critical acclaim.

Studios has announced that the Darkwing Duck creative team of Tad Stones, Ian Brill, James Silvani, Amy Mebberson, and Christopher Burns will be attending the Long Beach Comic Con on Saturday to sign your stuff! The group will be at the BOOM! Studios booth (#112) on Saturday, October 30, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM and then again from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM. If you loved the Darkwing Duck animated series, and are digging what BOOM! is doing with the property in comic book form, then this might be the chance to get something special.
