Hot Wheels has announced it is producing a 1:43 scale replica of the DeLorean turned time machine from Back to the Future. It’s a great looking care with a pretty high price.
Dallas Comic Con: Sci-Fi Expo goes Back To The Future, with three actors from the popular movie series topping the star-studded guest list on Feb. 9 and 10 at the Irving Convention Center in Irving, Texas. Christopher Lloyd, who played the iconic Dr. Emmett Brown, joins fellow cast members Lea Thompson (Marty’s mother, “Lorraine”) and James Tolkan (“Principal Strickland”) as they meet fans, sign autographs and pose for photos with a replica Delorean time machine.

I have one of the very cool Back to the Future vehicle toys made by Diamond Select Toys, and it is one of the few toys that my kids always want to play with to push the buttons and make sounds. Diamond Select Toys is re-releasing the three cars from the movies again, as well as K.I.T.T. and the Munster Koach.

Regular followers of the podcast will note that Stephen and I occasionally have contradictory views on certain issues. I was thus amused to find us once again disagreeing, but on opposite sides of our usual positions, regarding discussion of a rebooted ‘Back To The Future.’ I find myself thinking that perhaps it IS time for another shot at Marty and Doc’s time-travelling adventures, just in time for the real 2015 to torpedo the vision of the original trilogy and add another layer of complexity to the temporal shenanigans.
