It’s Friday, and it’s a perfect day to post some fun art by Agnes Garbowska.

Today, we’re diving into Black Beetle (not THAT Black Beetle) territory, with this piece by Ramón Pérez.

I hear that Aquaman returns from the dead in Brightest Day #2, and it’s been a while since we’ve run an Aquaman piece, and this one by Ray-Anthony Height hits it on the head.
Over at Comic Twart, the theme of the week is G.I. Robot, and so far, Ron Salas’ piece is the one I like the most.

I was planning to add some colour to this–and I probably will at a later date–but I’ll call this finished for now.
I’m really having fun doing this stuff.
The only thing better than an original Major Spoilers piece of art, is Andy Kubert and his covers for the upcoming Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne series.
Today, we’re featuring not one, but two covers, one each for issues #3 and #4. If you don’t want to see the Dread Pirate Batman, or The Good, The Bad, and The Batman covers, don’t take the jump.

Yup, it’s The Anti-Monitor all gussied up in his Black Lantern garb ready to wreck havoc on the universe… AGAIN!
The art is by Adam Schlagman and makes it into our Art Appreciation Moment of the day.

Can’t wait for the new Green Hornet: Year One series from Dynamite Entertainment. Not only is it written by Matt Wagner, but is also features this fantastic cover from John Cassaday.

There are those who still haven’t watched an episode of the Venture Bros., but that doesn’t stop them from cranking out some fantastic art.
You may have seen this one already, but with all the cover text stripped away, Frank Quitely’s Batman and Robin #7 cover is even more creepy.
DC has posted a huge image on its site showing off the Justice League: Rise and Fall cover and the related tie-in issues dealing with Green Arrow and the drama going on in his life.
The cover is by Mike Mayhew, and while it is very akin to the Final Crisis promo poster that circulated a couple of years ago, I can’t help but feel a bit of 3D flair being added to the piece.

I’m a big fan of those who can make something stunning with a single color. And if the subject is Jessica Rabbit, then red is the color to use.

Time for a little Godzilla action in this installment of Art Appreciation Moment of the Day.
