Here’s a bit of pondering for you as you wait for the next exciting installment of the Major Spoilers Podcast: Who would win in a fight between Iron Man and Iron Fist? Even though Tony Stark is encased head to toe in his Iron Man armor, with ever weapon known to man, the Iron Fist has a fist of iron, that can break and snap nearly anything with his Chi energies?

With Joss Whedon and John Cassaday’s history making run on Astonishing X-Men concluded, Warren Ellis and Simone Bianchi picked up the mantel at issue #25, and continued this week with Astonishing X-Men #26. For whatever reason, the front cover showcased Beast in both action and pensive moments, despite actually not appearing one iota within the book.

One of the best comics going around at the moment is Wolverine First Class. It is a telling of how the close relationship that Kitty and Logan have evolved, from Kitty’s first days at the Xavier School. It’s funny, it’s cute, and above all, it gives you the insight in to their relationship it promises.
However the sales are not justifying its quality, with only 22,000 sold for issue 3. It’s a pity, because it is a book I want to continue reading.

File this in the rumor file, but those attending the San Diego Comic Con next month might get a double dose of Watchmen goodness. First is the rumor attendees might be seeing some of the very first footage from the film during the Dark Knight panel.
The second is Nite Owl’s ship might be on the show floor.
When asked whether Nite Owl’s ship would land at Comic Con, Zack once again tripped over his words and let out that revealing smile as he discussed how expensive it would be to do so. Expensive, but so very sweet. I can only hope that bit is true for you fans out there. The ship is awesome. Really, absolutely awesome.
If this is a life size model that fans can go in and check out for themselves, then that could possibly the most kick-ass memorable moment of the con, and could topple the Mark I armor reveal done last year by Marvel.

If you’ve been collecting Minimates for a while, you more than likely already have an Iron Man figure or two (or three or four in my case). Diamond Select Toys and Art Asylum are releasing a new set based on the upcoming Iron Man movie.
The core assortment of Iron Man Movie Minimates will feature all-new armor designs as well as supporting characters and villains from the big-screen blockbuster. Mark III Iron Man & Pepper Potts, Iron Monger & Tony Stark and Mark I Iron Man & Jim Rhodes will make up this wave along with a limited Mark I Iron Man & Mark II Iron Man variant two-pack.
In addition to the regular moving parts, this collection will feature plenty of removable armor so you can recreate your favorite scene from movie – or lose amongst your ever growing collection of crap collectibles.
