The West Coast premiere of Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 1 is scheduled for September 24th, and while a number of stars are scheduled to premiere, fans really want to see more video clips now!

TELEVISION: Beware the Batman gets toned down by Warner Bros.

Batman doesn’t use guns, but in the upcoming Beware the Batman animated series, we’ve seen butler Alfred Pennyworth wielding guns.  In light of the shooting in Aurora, Colorado, Warner Bros. has decided to tone down the violence.

MOVIES: Disney announces supporting cast for Wreck-It Ralph

Tapping stars from the big and small screens, Walt Disney Animation Studios rounds out its voice cast for “Wreck-It Ralph.” Directed by Rich Moore (TV’s “The Simpsons,” “Futurama”) and produced by Clark Spencer (“Lilo & Stitch,” “Bolt”), the hilarious arcade-game-hopping adventure adds to its current roster, which includes John C. Reilly as Wreck-It Ralph, Jack McBrayer as Fix-It Felix Jr., Jane Lynch as Sergeant Calhoun and Sarah Silverman as Vanellope von Schweetz. “Wreck-It Ralph” hits theaters November 2, 2012.

SDCC’12: DC Nation – Bat Man of Shanghai

Several Spoilerites have pointed me to this video, which appears to be an upcoming short for the DC Nation block.  Now keep in mind this is a shot from the show floor, so this video will more than likely be taken down at any minute.

The first Bat Man of Shanghai short, set in 1930 China and featuring an alternate version of Catwoman and a cameo by Bane.
