There are so many announcements coming from the San Diego Comic Con, and the show hasn’t even started yet! For those attending the show this week, I’m sure there will be a lot of questions asked at the DC panels about the upcoming Harley Quinn series by Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner.
The Baltimore Comic-Con is thrilled to announce that fan-favorite creators Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner will be returning as guests to this year’s show, taking place the weekend of September 7-8, 2012 at the Baltimore Convention Center.
Amanda Conner, whose artwork for Before Watchmen is adding a new layer to the Wacthmen mythos, will be appearing at The Long Beach Comic & Horror Con scheduled for November 3-4 at the Long Beach Convention Center.

Laurie Juspeczyk is a problematic character. She’s foul-mouthed, short-tempered, inappropriate, and highly flawed. In short, she’s the everyman glue that holds the extraordinary sorts of Watchmen together. Today, not only do we get a look at Amanda Conner’s Silk Spectre, but we get a time-lapse video of Amanda drawing the piece.
The Baltimore Comic-Con is happy to welcome Amanda Conner, Jimmy Palmiotti, and Billy Tucci to the still-growing line-up of talent for this year’s show. The show will be taking place the weekend of August 20-21, 2011 at the Baltimore Convention Center.
Amanda Conner is providing the variant cover to Supergirl #58 that arrives in November. Her take on Supergirl’s first appearance is really great, and deserving of being featured in the Art Appreciation Moment of the Day.
