BrickCon 2008, a LEGO convention, just wrapped at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall, and one of the biggest and most interesting displays featured LEGO zombies shuffling through the city devouring brains and causing mayhem.  It’s totally awesome, and is the reason why every child should play with LEGO as they grow up (and why many adults should never stop playing with LEGO). There were a lot of complaints about the second season of NBC’s Heroes – from the lackluster storyline to the writer’s strike causing the season to end abruptly, fans were less than amused with the sophomore trials of the series.  Unfortunately, those feelings are still reverberating into the third season. The Hollywood Reporter has viewership for the season three two-hour premiere down 25% from last year. The “Heroes” debut (9.9 million viewers, 4.9 preliminary adults 18-49 rating and a 12 share and matched its lowest original episode rating ever. The boy had his first birthday this weekend, and we celebrated with all things Superman including Krypto Dogs (hot dogs), Big Belly Burgers, Soder Cola, and Kryptonite Shots, for the adults.  Those in the know will get the reason for the theme – the rest of you will need to scour the archives.  Considering Major Spoilers turns two in two weeks, I may have to figure out a way to make the boy’s birthday and Major Spoilers’ a huge three week party.
