Original co-creator Steve Niles returns to his first creation with this latest chapter in the 30 DAYS OF NIGHT series, joined by 30 Days of Night: Night, Again artist and The Maxx creator Sam Kieth. Niles and Kieth depict an epic story that shifts from Barrow, Alaska, to the city of angels, Los Angeles.

30 Days of Night sequel now shooting in Vancouver
IDW publisher Chris Ryall let everyone know via his Twitter feed, that the sequel to 30 Days of Night has started shooting in Vancouver. The followup will feature Keile Sanchez playing Stella Oleson, who is tracking down the vampire queen responsible for the destruction of the Alaskan town featured in the first film.
Don’t expect this movie to be rushed to the theater, as “30 Days of Night: Dark Days” is expected to be a direct-to-DVD release.
IDW Sale This Saturday

(San Diego, December 3, 2008) IDW Publishing is holding its first ever sale of comic books and graphic novels at its San Diego headquarters on Saturday, December 6, 10 am – 3 pm. This is a fantastic opportunity for comic book collectors to scoop up some real bargains and hunt down some rare titles they may have missed, including some limited editions and signed copies – all at bargain prices. There will be surprises and giveaways with every purchase.
A number of comic book creators will be on hand offering free autographs of their work, including Ben Templesmith (Wormwood, 30 Days of Night), Chris Ryall (Clive Barker’s The Great and Secret Show, Zombies vs. Robots), and Chris Mowry (Transformers).
IDW Announces Sale

IDW has a plan to clear out its back catalog of comic books and graphic novels, by holding a one day sale at the company’s headquaters in San Diego on Saturday, December 6, from 10am-3pm.
“Our warehouse manager is literally buried,†says IDW’s Chief Operating Officer, Greg Goldstein. “After 10 years of publishing, it’s only natural that the boxes have piled up because of accidental print overruns, books that were set aside as office copies, books intended for reviewers and others earmarked for promotional purposes. Time to get them out of here.â€
The sale includes limited editions and signed copies, and number of the creators will be on hand to sign as well. The guest list includes Ben Templesmith, Chris Ryall, and Chris Mowry.
The sale will be held in IDW’s parking lot, 5080 Santa Fe St, San Diego, CA 92109.
