If it worked for that other fat orange cat, why wouldn’t it work for Heathcliff.  Variety is reporting that Magic Lantern Entertainment and Fitzroy Media are joining forces to bring the feline’s antics to the big screen. The two companies have pacted to develop a range of properties, from direct-to-DVD toons to a potential live-action theatrical feature, around the flabby tabby, updating the popular comicstrip character for the 21st century.
