MAJOR SPOILERS DISCUSSION
Skye Asks:
I think it could be interesting to have a discussion about comic book subscriptions. I can see several facets:
The different ways you can get a subscriptions – pull lists, direct subscriptions, dcbs and other online services.
The ways the various publishers offer subscriptions.
The effect on comic shops.
How popular are they?
How timely are they – I sometimes get issues 3-4 weeks after they have been officially released from Marvel but usually 1-2 weeks after release. DC (although I think DC subscriptions are a third party) is always about 4 weeks after release.

Nice Monstarr reference, it got a chuckle out of me.
Good podcast you guys. I still say yall should do one over the Earth X, Universe X, and Paradise X series by Jim Krueger and Alex Ross though.
I know yall at Major Spoilers tend to lean to the DC side of things but if you haven’t read these comics you need too. They are what got me hooked back onto reading comics after dropping them for years.
Wow. Matthew sounding intellectual, Rodrigo providing perspective, Stephen complaining about character deaths even though they don’t change the impact of stories since they exist in fictional universes.
BTW, Kon-El will star in the new Adventure Comics coming in August, so he’s staying around.
Awesome issue as always, gents.
Wow. Matthew sounding intellectual, Rodrigo providing perspective, Stephen complaining about character deaths like the usual self-righteous fanboy.
BTW, Conner Kent will star in the new Adventure Comics coming in August.
Awesome episode as always!
EDIT: albert from Earth-2 tuned into this Earth’s frequency and commented on this show, thus resulting into two similar but different responses.
My money is on Ravager as the new Batgirl, she has history with Nightwing (he freed her from Deathstroke’s mind control) and she holds that pose every other panel in Teen Titans and that smirk is so Rose.
If you’re really an infrequent person, I don’t recommend a subscription… maybe more fiber or prune juice, but not subscriptions.
P.S.- They had internet when you were in college Matthew? I thought you were like 60 or something, your knowledge of Legion feel like you’ve been reading it since the 50s, I mean wiki looks YOU up when it doesn’t know something Legion related…
I just turned 38, but thanks for crushing my already bruised ego. :)
As a Witchblade fan, I felt that the annual didn’t help at all with changing people’s opinion on Top Cow.
“you should try Witchblade now, it’s not all naked ladies, honest………here, try the annual (turn’s to page 1)……..oh, right…….er………I’ll get my coat”
