Next week, we’ll all be in line of the new Batman v Superman movie, and though some may not want to see Batman and Superman fighting (because reasons…), everyone is interested to see what Gal Gadot will do with Wonder Woman. On Sunday in London’s Trafalgar Square was taken over by the Wonder Woman movie and redressed as the first ever Armistice Day celebration on November 11th, 1918. Two separate videos have emerged from the scene showing Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and actress Lucy Davis in addition to a slough of extras in period costumes. This is the most behind-the-scenes video footage that has come out of the Wonder Woman camp so far and the time period lines up with all the stills that have been seen so far. Wonder Woman hits theaters on June 23, 2017.
During today’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice Special the first look at Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman hit the world. This is some incredibly promising footage which nods back to the classic idea of Wonder Woman, which also speaks highly for the coming Wonder Woman movie. As seems to be the standard in the film industry, when a woman is cast in an iconic part – or even a leading role – she comes under exceptional scrutiny in comparison to her male counterparts.
