Interactive Q&A sessions with top stars like Chris Hemsworth, Stan Lee, William Shatner and three other “Star Trek” captains, WWE® Superstar CM Punk™ and more than a dozen others, movie screenings, evening parties, kids activities, comedy and costume contests are among the wide variety of programming offerings at Wizard World Philadelphia Comic Con, May 31 – June 3 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.  Panels are scheduled for all four days, spanning the entire pop culture spectrum.

WWP’12: First guests announced

Following a record-setting weekend at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, Wizard World Inc. (symbol: WIZD) today set the dates for the next Philadelphia Comic Con at June 1-3, 2012, and announced the early commitments of several superstar artists to attend next year’s event. Greg Hildebrandt, Greg Capullo, Michael Golden and Mark Texeira will be joined by a bevy of famous international creators at next year’s convention, with many more guests to be announced in the coming months.

More than 270 comics creators from around the world – and across the City of Brotherly Love – will be taking their talents to Wizard World Philadelphia Comic Con, part of North America’s largest pop-culture tour, Friday through Sunday at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.  From Will Eisner Industry Award winners like Kevin Maguire (“Justice League,” “Batman Confidential”) and Bill Sienkiewicz (“Elektra”) to popular creators Greg Horn (“Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark,” “Hero For Hire”), Arthur Suydam (“Marvel Zombies,” “Army of Darkness”) to J.G. WizWorld Philly ’11: Bill Goldberg to appear at comic convention

(WIZD) is proud to announce that popular WWE professional wrestler, television and movie star Bill Goldberg has joined a standout list of celebrity guests scheduled to attend the 11th annual Wizard World Philadelphia Comic Con at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.  Goldberg, who will be making his first Wizard World event appearance, will meet fans on Saturday, June 18th.  The event, which will feature more than 300 celebrities, comic book creators and great guests, will be held June 17-19.
