WizWorld Anaheim ’11: Eisner Award Winner and Nominees to guest Wizard World Anaheim

Eighteen Will Eisner Comics Industry Awards winners or nominees are among the more than 200 comic creators already scheduled to attend Wizard World Anaheim Comic Con, part of North America’s largest pop-culture tour, April 29-May 1 at the Anaheim Convention Center.  Seven superstar artists and writers who have won the prestigious Eisner Award who will be on site include Jim Krueger (“Earth X,” “Project Superpowers”), Steve Lieber (“Detective Comics,” “Hawkman”), Kevin Maguire (“Justice League,” “Batman Confidential,” Bill Sienkiewicz (“Elektra”), and William Stout (paleontological reconstruction artist), Derek Kirk Kim (“Same Difference and Other Stories,” “Lowbright”) and D.J. Kirkbride (“PopGun,” “Do You Believe in Ninjas?”).

CONVENTION: Schneider, West, Ward, and more to appear at Anaheim Convention Center

North America’s largest pop-culture tour continues as Wizard World Anaheim Comic Con returns to the Anaheim Convention Center, April 29 through May 1, with superstar guests Michael McMillian, John Schnieder, Adam West, Burt Ward and Chase Masterson headlining the list of celebrity attendees. The event will bring together thousands of fans of all ages and dozens of celebrities and industry professionals to celebrate the best in pop culture, movies, comics, toys, video gaming, television, gaming, original art, collectibles, contests and more.

Wizard World Anaheim Gets 2011 date

Wizard Entertainment CEO Gareb Shamus has announced that Wizard World Anaheim will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center April 29 through May 1, 2011.

“Our first Anaheim Comic Con was a smashing success, and Wizard World is pleased to have secured a date for 2011,” said Shamus.  “We have just scratched the surface of what this event can be, and we look forward to bringing an even bigger and better show back to the Anaheim Convention Center.”

Wizard Entertainment tells Major Spoilers that the popular Actors Pavilion, which was a big hit last year, will return.
