It was announced at Wizard World Chicago that Bryan Hitch’s next project at Marvel will be reuniting with Mark Millar for a 12-issue run on Fantastic Four. The duo plan on returning the Fantastic Four to the top of the charts, and promise to get the issues out monthly too. In Image Comics The Overman series, kicking off in December, the end of man is very near. According to writer Scott Reed, “The story is a stark and direct manifesto of the future. It’s set in a neo-deco futuristic Pittsburgh, and begins much like a detective story. Yet another one of those incidents where a character that was killed in 2004 makes his return. A couple of weeks ago, Major Spoilers announced Zenescope’s The Living Corpse had been picked up by Shoreline Entertainment to be turned into a motion picture. What’s cool about this? The first issue hasn’t even been released yet. If the film does well, you’ll be scrambling to pick up the issues. However, if you are planning to attend Wizard World Chicago (August 9 – 12), Zenescope will be offering the #1/2 issue at the show for a mere .25 cents.
