Do we really need another zombie tale set in the Marvel Universe? According to Fred Van Lente, the answer is yes. Alex Ross is coming back to Marvel, and guess what project he is working on? According to Ross, this project has been in the works for two years. In an interview with Newsarama, Alex said he would be the designer, cover artist, and co-storyteller with Jim Krueger. It could mean many things. It implies as much a return of Captain America, sure, as it also implies my return to Marvel – and maybe some other things. Word out of Chicago is artist Dustin Nguyen will make a return to the Batman universe taking on the art duties for Detective Comics. This is not the first time Nguyen has drawn Batman, he is currently doing work on Superman/Batman, and this fall, you’ll see his Batman work in DC’s Halloween Special, in a story written by Paul Dini that features – surprise – Zatanna. Dustin Nguyen joins Paul Dini’s Detective Comics in early 2008.
