Seems like everyone is getting in on the zombie craze, including the Hardy Boys. Papercutz has released this teaser trailer for the current Hardy Boys: The New Case Files #1, “Crawling with Zombies”. Fans of Conan O’Brien know he has a thing for superheroes, going so far as getting a superhero version of himself sketched up a while ago. The Flaming C is back, and he’s made a surprise appearance on the Cartoon Network’s Young Justice series.
While Dynamite Entertainment has the Zorro license in the US, it looks like the character is getting a different treatment in Australia thanks to Silver Fox Comics. The new series has Zorro taking on drugs, samurais, the supernatural world, gypsies, and zombies. I don’t know what possessed LEGO to create a short film that features a guy stealing building bricks, as the results are both awe inspiring and terribly uncomfortable.
If you have a ton of free time, a passion for Star Wars, you have a machine shop that can go to town on metal, and a knowledge of circuitry, you may be able to make your own Lightsaber. Bradley Lewis documented his process of building his own saber at Slothfurnace.com and the results are nothing short of amazing. Of course, the time, effort, energy and money dumped into this project is probably a lot more than a Force FX lightsaber that runs around $100.00 online. Thanks for the tip, Rob!
If you aren’t old enough to have seen the Star Wars Christmas Special on television when it originally aired, then you are either A) incredibly lucky, or B) incredibly lucky.
