TRAILER: Harley’s Revenge

Rocksteady has released a new teaser image for the upcoming DLC content for Batman: Arkham City, Harley’s Revenge.  The stand alone content arrives May 29, 2012 as part of the Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition, that promises several more hours of game play for a mere 800 Microsoft points (that’s $9.99 on the PlayStation Network).

GAMING: Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition announced

I don’t know all of the content that will appear in Rocksteady Studios’ Game of the Year Edition of Batman: Arkham City, but the DLC packs, and Harley Quinn’s Revenge (along with the very cool trailer) make this a collection that might be worth picking up.

TABLE TOP: Settlers of Catan

I finally had a chance to sit down and watch the latest episode of Table Top from Wil Wheaton and the Geek and Sundry channel on YouTube.  DnDBrian and Rob talked my ear off last year at Nerdtacular 2011 trying to explain the game Settlers of Catan, and now that I’ve seen the game in partial action, I think it might be time to revisit the concept of picking a game night at the Major Spoilers HQ that doesn’t revolve around Dungeons and Dragons.

GAMING: LEGO Batman 2 shows off other characters

We’ve already seen Superman and Robin for the upcoming LEGO Batman 2 video game, and if you own the LEGO DC Super Heroes set you already know what Wonder Woman and Catwoman look like.  Just in case you don’t own those sets, there are two new images of the female characters that are set to appear in the upcoming video game.

WTF: Star Wars Kinect

I don’t know what to say.  On the one hand, I was never in favor of the Kinect in the first place, because anything that requires me to get off my ass and do anything even remotely close to exercise scares me.  On the other hand… nope… sorry, I can’t think of anything positive say, especially after watching this atrocity that is Star Wars Kinect.

GAMING: Mistborn saga headed to gaming systems in 2013

Little Orbit revealed today that they will be bringing bestselling author Brandon Sanderson’s epic fantasy series Mistborn to games late next year for PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, Windows PC and Mac.
