When Microsoft unveiled the Xbox One last week at E3 and announced the inability to share video games with friends and the need to be connected to the Internet at, almost, all times fans exploded with anger at policies they believed would inhibit the way they currently played their favorite games. There was a ton of new games revealed at E3 last week, and we did our best to keep up with the more interesting ones, but somehow the craziest and weirdest of them all slipped right past us. With E3 having been this weekend, all sorts of game news is flooding the nets, but here’s one that is surprising a lot of people. The closing of LucasArts may not be as bad as initially expected as EA has announce that DICE, the guys behind Battlfield and Mirror’s Edge, will be making a new Star Wars: Battlefront title. Over the current generation of consoles, I would say that one of the games well towards the top of my favorites would be Mirror’s Edge. Rumors of a sequel started circling almost immediately upon the initial release and here we are, six years later, finally seeing EA and DICE release a trailer for Mirror’s Edge 2.
