Who doesn’t love Portal? What’s more, who doesn’t enjoy the adorable, deadly turrets found in the Aperture testing facilities? Best yet, who else wants one of those turrets? Well, for now the only place that gets one is Valve HQ, but we can at least enjoy the unboxing after the jump.
A few years ago the first Borderlands showed up and created its own subgenre, the shoot and loot. With solid gameplay, gorgeous visuals, a net-rage inducing ending, and hilarity running across the spectrum it exploded into the world with guns, guns and more guns creating a massively popular following, Having spawned four vastly entertaining sets of DLC, more guns than you can possibly ever obtain, some great videos, and entertainment galore, the full-fledged sequel has finally arrived.

Premiering with the Orange Box in 2007, Valve’s Team Fortress 2 has become one of their most popular and valuable franchises. Part of this has included introduction videos, dubbed “Meet the. . .,” of each of the classes, and the sandvich, slowly releasing them with all but the Pyro having a video. Stan Lee is a DLC/Preorder character for the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man game and here we have some game play footage and the Man himself discussing the joys of cameos. The game itself hits stores June 26, so you still have a chance to get Stan as a pre-order exclusive.
With the game itself a mere day away, this trailer shows off quite a few of the other characters in the game, and the initial calling of the Justice League and the first view of Lego J’onn J’onzz. The Lego games are usually hilarious, and from the looks of this trailer and the new addition of voice work, this one should be just as good.
One of the more interesting announcements out of E3 this week is an upgrade to the fantastic Batman: Arkham City game coming to the WiiU shortly after launch. For a trailer of some of the upgrades, take a jump.
Wizards of the coast is getting ready to launch the new version of Duels of the Planeswalkers, which will be available for PC, Xbox, PS3 and iPad. Take the jump to find out more.
Ubisoft showed off the first trailer to their new Avengers game during their conference at E3. I have to say it looks good and I like the trade off on villains.
Ubisoft also mentioned it will involve portions of and ideas from the Secret Invasion storyline. The game itself is announced for Fall 2012, so look forward to more soon.
Recently, Voltron has become a thing again. Apparently there are some comics on the way and I’ve heard rumors of a new TV series, but that’s not what we’re discussing here today. As part of this new “thing” a Voltron video game has come out for the downloadable market, that’s what we’re here to discuss.
