[Solicitations] Vampblade gets second season, new costume, and new direction, but not THAT New Direction
PRESS RELEASE – Wielding other-dimensional blades that allow her to cosplay the perfect costume for any situation, comic shop owner Katie Carva continues her secret fight against the hidden vampiric parasites that threaten mankind in an all new second season of the popular Action Lab: Danger Zone series!
One thing I could never stand about Santa Clara was all the damn vampires. Now, the adventures of the Frog Brothers and friends continue in the new series from Vertigo. When the series debuts on October 12th, it will feature a variant cover by Joelle Jones, that you have to see to believe.
I have no idea what Blood and Dust: The Life and Undeath of Judd Glenny #1 is about, but the cover looks really interesting, and with a story about America’s first vampire, I’m more than willing to give this one a look.
Remember The Lost Boys? The 1987 movie gave us a whole different take on vampires (and their slayers), and cemented the flick as classic in our minds. Now, nearly 30 years later, we’re finally getting a sequel in comic book form from Vertigo.
VAMPBLADE is having quite the year. After guest starring in Action Lab’s runaway hit series ZOMBIE TRAMP and co-headlining the aptly titled ZOMBIE TRAMP VS: VAMPBLADE miniseries, the latex clad, sword wielding other-dimensional monster slayer is spinning off into her own insanely fun ongoing series.
He’s back! It’s always great to chat with one of my very favorite comics writers, Michael Alan Nelson, who’s creating Hexed and Day Men for BOOM! Studios! We discuss both of those comics, including Hexed’s history and how he became involved with Day Men. We also discuss a favorite subject of mine, women characters in comics, as well as the characters in each of the books he’s currently working on! I’m sure you’ll enjoy what he has to say, so don’t miss it!
