Michael Bay and crew are back at it again with the giant robots in disguise with Transformers: Age of Extinction. The next installment in the Transforms franchise is set to hit theaters in a little over 6 months so we can expect a ramp up in the marketing with a trailer and more posters just around the corner. Joining writer and IDW senior editor John Barber and fan-favorite scribe James Roberts in a top-secret meeting earlier this year, the artistic force of Phil Jimenez helped plan Dark Cybertron from the start! “I’ve been a fan of the TRANSFORMERS brand since I was 13,” said Jimenez, “and this was a fanboy dream come true. The beauty of this story is it plays to the strengths of the characters and to my strengths as a storyteller; epic, world-shattering scale as well as those beautiful character moments that make readers care about a bunch of giant ‘Robots in Disguise.’”
Michael Bay has returned to the land of the Transformers with lead actor Mark Wahlberg for Transformers 4. Production is currently filming in Detroit and spectator footage has made its way on to the Internet of explosions, explosions, and screaming people.
Shout! Factory and Hasbro studios have announce a full length film to be released as the epilogue for the fantastic Transformers Prime series.
