New Teen Wolf is full of wolf, no basketball

Remember Teen Wolf, that fantastic comedy with Michael J. Fox? Sure you do – there’s boobies in it. Well, MTV is in the process of taking that old film that the fuddy-duddies like and tweaking it into something the Twilight fans will like. Here is the result.

That’s it? Where the hell is the big basketball game? What happened to that touching moment when Teen Wolf’s dad tells him it is inherited? Where is van surfing? And what about that moment when Teen Wolf bites into a can of beer and the party erupts in joy and celebration?

This is no Teen Wolf, this is a teen that is wolf pretending to be a sparkly vampire.

Watch six minutes of Young Justice

During the New York Comic Con, attendees got a chance to check out a six minute extended preview of the upcoming Young Justice series.  MTV got their hands on the clip and are sharing it with everyone.

In “Young Justice,” being a teenager means proving yourself over and over – to peers, parents, teachers, mentors and, ultimately, to yourself. But what if you’re not just a normal teenager? What if you’re a teenage super hero? Are you ready to join the ranks of the great heroes and prove you’re worthy of the Justice League? That’s exactly what the members of Young Justice – Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian and Artemis – will [find] out, whether they have what it takes to be a proven hero.”

The pilot episode airs on the Cartoon Network on November 26, 2010 at 7:00 PM EST.

Trailer: Kung Fu Panda 2: Kaboom of Doom

I really got a kick out of the first Kung Fu Panda, and every time I see even a second of it on one of the cable channels, I’m compelled to stop and watch the entire thing.  The sequel to the movie is well underway (sigh… it is getting the 3-D treatment), and the first trailer looks really promising.

New Sucker Punch trailer ready for your viewing pleasure

A brand new trailer for Zack Snyder’s Sucker Punch has arrived, and it still holding my interest in wanting to see the movie.

Set in the 1950s, Sucker Punch follows Babydoll (Browning) who is confined to a mental institution by her stepfather, who intends to have her lobotomized in five days. While there, she imagines an alternative reality to hide her from the pain, and in that world, she begins planning her escape, needing to steal five objects to help get her out before she is deflowered by a vile man.
