Top Cow has sent us a copy of its schedule for Wizard World LA taking place this weekend at the Los Angeles Convention Center. In addition to a long list of signings, Top Cow will offer three exclusive variants of Witchblade Takeru Manga #2, a black and white edition of Hunter-Killer #12, and a black and white edition of Witchblade #104. Top Cow let us know that all three Compendium edition trade paperbacks have completely sold out. The initial releases of Witchblade Compendium Volume 1, The Darkness Compendium Volume 1, and Tomb Raider Compendium were overprinted in anticipation of high sales, but now the titles have sold out, the company is going back to print. Each compendium collects 50 consecutive issues totalling 1248 pages. If that isn’t enough to get you interested in a title you’ve not read, the price isn’t too bad either – $59.99. via Top Cow (link)

This will be a ten page story featuring interviews with writer Alex Zamm and artist Jason Badower, and will include a character and creature design section. I’ve been blown away by Paul Dini’s work on Detective Comics, now Top Cow has snagged him to write a brand new series – Madame Mirage. I’m sure the story will rock, but a big bonus is the art by Kenneth Rocafort. Plus there is another installment of Witchblade Manga coming this month as well.

Top Cow Entertainment slipped Major Spoilers a sneak peek at the upcoming The Darkness: Level 2. There’s some World War I action going on in this issue and the four page preview hints at some intense action. Even though this series is supposed to tie in with the video game, I’ve been told you don’t need to read the issue to enjoy the game or vice versa, which is cool.
