Once Joss Whedon surprised everyone at the Marvel Studios Hall H panel Saturday night by announcing the Avengers sequel would be titled Avengers: Age of Ultron, it seemed that the mid-credits teaser of Thanos lurking around had all been for naught. Though not it has been confirmed Thanos will be in a movie, just not Avengers like we had believed.

With a certain purple-skinned Eternal getting some high-profile attention, it was pretty much inevitable that we’d get to see more of his adventures.
