Press Release

Th3rd World Studios, publisher of the NY Times Bestselling series THE STUFF OF LEGEND, is proud to announce a complete sell-out of their FINDING GOSSAMYR micro-distribution promotion. This comes on the heels of the breakout success of their Free Comic Book Preview that MTV Geek said, “purposely evokes the excitement and humanity of a Pixar movie and actually nails it… exciting, intriguing, and everything you’d want from the first few pages of a book…”

If you are wondering what happened to that copy of The Stuff of Legend #1 you had your eye on, but now it seems to be missing, it’s probably because it sold out, prompting Th3rd World Studios to go back to press to satisfy the demand.

Mike Raicht, writer of the current Army of Darkness series, has a new book coming out from Th3rd World Studios called The Stuff of Legend, that sounds really good.

The Story was created and penned by Mike Raicht (Army of Darkness) and Brian Smith, with pencils by newcomer Charles Paul Wilson III. Set during the height of World War II in 1944, The Stuff of Legend follows a group of toys on a grand and sometimes frightening adventure into a realm called The Dark to save their master from every child’s worst nightmare — The Boogeyman.

The best part is, the first 20 pages of the book will be available during Free Comic Book Day this weekend. And as a bonus, the creators and writers will be available at various comic book stores signing stuff.

Th3rd World Studios Sneak Peek: Omega Chase

I’ve always wanted to do a Kung-Fu Zombie Western, but it looks like Th3rd World Studios may have beaten me to the punch with two of the three ideas. Omega Chase is a western where the dead have guns and are out for the sheriff. I’m not sure about the gun-toting part, but hey, it is a different take on the shuffling brain eaters.

Take the jump for the six page preview of the four issue mini-series that arrives in September.
