For those who dug The Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, but thought the season was just too short, rejoicing is in order as Fox has announced plans to continue the series for a second season. The series could also get an early back-nine order, Reilly said. Next May, Fox will release the fourth “Terminator” film which could make for some ideal corporate synegy should the TV series survive the fall. According to an interview over at Comics Continuum, Alfred Gough and Miles Millar – the executive producers of Smallville, have decided to leave the show in favor of focusing on major motion pictures. Don’t get too excited fanboys, I don’t think this means there is a Smallville film in the works; remember these are the same producing team that brought Spider-Man 2 to the big screen, so my guess is they are working on something really incredible.
