AMC has been doing some big things in the cable realm over the last couple of years.  The Mad Men series took off like wildfire, and now it looks like AMC is looking to adapt Robert Kirkman’s Walking Dead for the small screen as well. Frank Darabont is on board to write, direct and exec produce the project, with Gale Anne Hurd of Valhalla Pictures and David Alpert of Circle of Confusion also executive producing. I’m glad a cable network picked up the rights to this property instead of a movie studio, which really couldn’t do justice to the comic…

You know you are a superstar comic book person when you get pro representation from a big Hollywood agency.  Or so says The Hollywood Reporter that reports Neal Adams and his Continuity Studios have signed with ICM. The agency will work to take Adams’ creations across all forms of media as well as help him make the transition to feature film writing and directing. In that latter fashion, Adams would follow artists-turned-helmers such as John Cassaday, who directed an episode of Fox TV series “Dollhouse,” and Frank Miller, who helmed “Sin City” and “The Spirit.” So what will Adams and…

Those that listen to the Major Spoilers Podcast, and hang on our every word, know I’m a huge Rockford Files fan.  It’s probably one of the best television series to come out of the 70s and early 80s.  Variety is reporting that it has asked House creator and executive producer David Shore to revive the series from the bins and update it for a new age of audiences. Garner’s Emmy-winning portrayal of the ex-con private eye who lived in a trailer in Malibu (and usually worked as hard to get his clients to pay up as he did on solving…

That might all change come Sunday when it MIGHT be announced that Superman’s outfit will make an appearance in the season premiere of season 9 – aptly titled “Superman”. Does this mean we might see Tom Welling take over the film franchise down the road?  Another rumor has…
