According to Kryptonsite, Max Lord will appear in episode 19 of this season’s Smallville. It’s unclear at this point if he will be a good guy, or a bad guy. Considering the Junior Lifeguard Association is still forming, it wouldn’t surprise me to see him as the financier for the group, and later to be revealed to be working for Pam Grier’s Checkmate. “Charade” is expected to air in April. via Kryptonsite

Smallville: Absolute Justice hit a record high in the Friday night spot since its last high showing way back in September 2008. According to the CW, Smallville performed well in all key categories, including “adults 18-49 (1.2/4), men 18-49 (1.5/5), adults 18-34 (1.1/4), men 18-34 (1.3/5) and total viewers (2.8mil), according to preliminary live plus same day Nielsen ratings for Friday, Feb. 5, 2009.” 2.8 million may not seem like a lot when shows like The Ghost Whisperer brings in 8.8 million viewers, but it is big news for the CW. Now if only those 2.8 million people would actually…

This season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars gets better and better with each episode. LucasFilm sent us a sneak peek of The Mandalore Plot, that you can see after the jump. Sent to look into troubling rumors surrounding Duchess Satine of Mandalore, Obi-Wan Kenobi discovers the truth behind the whispers of a mysterious conspiracy. Just saw the trailer for Smallville: Absolute Justice that is running on Canadian television, and it reveals a lot more detail in the JSA action we’ll see on screen come February 5. If you’re upset that the Canadians got a better look at the show than we did in the first episode, keep in mind we’ll see it first as it airs up north on February 7, 2010.
The Silver Banshee is one of those villans that can be really cheesy, really kick-ass, and/or really sexy, and the CW has given the live action role of the vengeful spirit to Odessa Rae. Rae will appear in the episode 16, currently titled “Escape”. Good news for fans of Robert Kirkman’s Walking Dead series, AMC has given the green light to begin production on the pilot episode of the television series. Frank Darabont penned the adaptation and is on board to direct. Gale Anne Hurd of Valhalla Motion Pictures and David Alpert of Circle of Confusion will exec produce with Darabont. Back in August the news that AMC had picked up the television rights to the series sent a surge of positive support Kirkman’s way, and I can only imagine this news has zombie fans even more excited about making sure their cable provider…
