True Believer Heads to SciFi

rosario.jpgAlso revealed at Tuesday night’s upfront presentation is the Rosario Dawson produced pilot, True Believer.  Dawson has been hired to produce the pilot episode that could be turned into a series that follows a comic nerd who hires a former superhero to teach him the ropes on fighting crime.

Dawson is exec producer, and her co-author on the Image Comics book “Occult Crimes Task Force,” David Atchinson, will write the script of “Believer” with Matthew Spradlin and Tom Feister.

Fans of the Sin City star shouldn’t get too excited, Dawson isn’t expected to star in the show as of this report.
