WIZARD WORLD: Stan Lee not attending Wizard World Ohio

The organizers of Wizard World Ohio have announced that Stan Lee is canceling a number of appearances including Ohio Comic Con, and the Authors Authors event at the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library.

There are a number of people speculating what all this means, and they may be right, but before everyone starts spouting doom and gloom, let’s just keep calm and keep reading comics.

Comics industry legend Stan Lee is back at the 2012 Baltimore Comic-Con!  Taking place September 8-9 at the Baltimore Convention Center in downtown Baltimore, Stan Lee will be appearing at the show on Saturday, September 8th.  As an added bonus, VIP Gold Ticket holders are afforded a very unique opportunity to attend a special panel with Stan Lee and friends followed by a meet and greet with Stan Lee.

GAMES: Stan Lee on playing himself


Stan Lee is a DLC/Preorder character for the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man game and here we have some game play footage and the Man himself discussing the joys of cameos. The game itself hits stores June 26, so you still have a chance to get Stan as a pre-order exclusive.

SOLICITATIONS: Stan Lee narrates new Marvel apps

Disney Publishing Worldwide announced today that two more storybook app titles based on the original Marvel Origins series will join “The Amazing Spider-Man: An Origin Story” app, which launched last month.  The new titles, both narrated by comic book legend Stan Lee, include “Avengers Origins: Hulk” and “Avengers Origins: Assemble!” which will be available for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch in February 2012.
