Oops! As much as Sony wants to keep the ending to Spider-Man 3 and Venom under wraps, along comes Medicom Toy Company and spoils it all by revealing their S3 toy line.

Gone is the white spider, replaced by the dark gray lines instead. Looks pretty wicked. Word on the street is the figure will cost near $100, but the link on the Sideshow Collectibles site that had the pre-order information is now mysteriously missing.

Many of you weren’t too thrilled when Venom didn’t make an appearance in the Spider-Man 3 trailer I posted last week. Well Web-heads, I did the research and found the San Diego Comic trailer that does include shots of Venom at the end.
UPDATE: As fate would have it, the video has been removed from YouTube (thanks Sony). But fear not, I still have an image of Venom for you to enjoy.

Happy Friday Y’all! The brand new Spider-Man 3 trailer is out, and we have it right here! Check it out then discuss it in the talk back.

Sci Fi Wire has an interview with Thomas Haden Church, who plays Sandman in the next Spider-Man 3 flick, on the amount of training needed to get in shape for the film.
“No. … I mean, … you know, you just … try to once again … toe the line and do what’s asked of you. … But it’s different. … It’s been a great discipline. I worked out for about probably 16 months, and … it was a good … discipline to have in my life. It was very invigorating to reincorporate that.”

Fans at the San Diego Comic Con snapped pics of the new poster for the Spider-Man 3 film. I have loved all of the posters done for each of the Spider-Man films (I even snagged one of the original double sided posters from the first film), and I am very pleased with the images I have seen of the latest installment. Granted, this isn’t the best image out there, but the rich colors and fine detail done in the past will make this a nice one to add to my collection.

We all know that movies based on comic books often change or totally rewrite the history of our favorite character in an attempt to sell more tickets, but changing who killed Uncle Ben? Major Spoilers ahead.
