SDCC’12: Chris Roberson announces Rain for Image Comics

Even though he is busy with his MonkeyBrain Comics projects, comic writer Chris Roberson continues to pick up work for other publishers.  His latest project, Rain, was announced during the Image Comics panel.

”It is a giant sprawling, epic fantasy, secondary world kind of thing.  I was a novelist before and I spent years developing characters, religions, worlds , and all that, and it would be far too much to do in a novel.  I thought maybe I could do a comic and retool it that way.”

Paul Mayberry will be providing the art for this book.

Joining her in this shot is WindoftheStars, another super talented seamstress, who is wearing her Harley Quinn costume today.

Great job ladies!

Good on you Mr. Downey! Let’s hope the media that were there allowed the kids to have their moment of awesome memory before they crushed them in the rush to get a quote and a shot.
