Deadline Hollywood is often dead on when posting rumors, so we’re going to believe the crew over there this time with their announcement that 30-year-old actor Jason Momoa has been cast as Conan in the Lionsgate Millenium Films latest adaptation of the Robert E. Howard’s classic character. Sources said that director Marcus Nispel was sold on Momoa, and won over the filmmakers by shooting a few trial scenes that allowed Momoa to wield a sword and behave very Schwarzenegger-like. This keeps the film on course for a March 15 production start in Bulgaria Sounds good to me.Â Let’s get this
IGN has released the official trailer for the Robert E. Howard Solomon Kane movie, and it looks like it will be packed with enough action to draw people in.Â It certainly looks a lot better than that Traci Lords Princess of Mars movie we saw last week.
According to Fantasy.fr, Paradox Entertainment is set to tackle a new Kull movie.Â Fredrik Malmberg, Paradox Entertainment’s CEO, broke the news that the Atlantean native will be making his way around Valusia. Native to Atlantis, Kull grows up with his family in Tiger Valley until a flood wipe his clan out. Another clan bring him up, but he stands up for a woman destined to burn alive and ends up banned from Atlantis. He sails for the continent and take up the mercenary way. He’ll become king, just as Conan will do thousands of years later. Under his influence, Valusia

After reading the preview images that the good folks at Dynamite Entertainment sent Major Spoilers earlier this week, I could not help but take the opportunity to review the second installment in new series telling the early days of one of the most famous of Robert E.
