Marvel unveils the Big Shots

Marvel has announced a brand new initiative called Big Shots that spotlights three ongoing series.  The first out of the gate is Moon Knight, which arrives in May.

…the Eisner Award-winning team of Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev as they delve deep into the psyche of the titular hero and embark on his greatest adventure yet.

Following that, the Punisher returns with a new number one issue that, according to the press release, “will have everybody talking.” I’m guessing you can fill in the rest of that thought.

Finally, Daredevil  (I thought he died a couple of months ago) returns, looking for his place in the world.

REVIEW: Franken-Castle #21

PunisherMax #1 goes back to print, too

Marvel also announced PunisherMax #1 sold out at the distributor level (although you may be able to pick up a copy at your local store), prompting the company to send the issue back to press with a second issue.

The Rigoletto Family’s got a new bodyguard. He’s not just another schlub with a taste for the big time though. No, Wilson Fisk may just have what it takes to make himself Kingpin. That’s if I don’t take him out first.

The second printing of PunisherMax #1 will hit stores on December 23, 2009, with a cover price of $3.99.
