Major Spoilers Poll of the Week: That other universe edition

For the last couple of days, rumor has spread like wildfire across the Intardwebz that Marvel is considering a big crossover between the 616 Universe and the Ultimate Universe (Universe 1610), with the ultimate outcome (see what I did there) being the closure/end of the Ultimate line of print comics.  Brian Michael Bendis, the guy that has been helming the U-Universe, and doing a dang find job of it (save for that horrible Loeb debacle), says this isn’t what is happening.  But that got us wondering anyway…

When it comes to space travel, there are a couple of routes you can go.  The first is the safe route, which means it takes 100 years or more to put a colony on the Moon, which is a good thing, because everyone knows the Moon blew up in 1999.  The other is to seek out strange new worlds, and make a buck or two by smuggling spice for the Hutts.  The second is a bit more reckless, but can lead to so much more in the end.  Which brings us to the Major Spoilers Poll of the Week! Major Spoilers Poll of the Week: Skylanders Edition

For the holiday season, I finally broke down and bought The Boy the Skylanders and Skylanders: Giants games that he had been begging for for the last year.  We finally defeated Kaos this past weekend, and found the last two Giants figures he’s been wanting.  Now I understand that there is a new Giants figure hitting stores soon, that The Boy already knows about, and a new Skylanders: Swap Force on the way with even more figures… which brings us to this week’s pressing poll.
