Unboxing the Rocketeer Oversized Artist’s Edition
I forgot that I purchased the Rocketeer Oversized Artist’s Edition when it was first announced back in May. I’ve read and reread the series so often, that it seems like there would be no reason to buy yet another printing of the book. Even better than the story, I fell in love with Dave Stevens’ art when I first laid eyes on it way back in the late ’80s, so this edition the artist’s black and white art became a must buy. If you have a lot of money, and you enjoy looking through the Previews catalogs and websites that feature geek toys, you’ve probably seen ads for WETA Studios Dr. Grordbort’s product line. They may be high priced, but they are totally awesome.
