NERDTACULAR’11 – You can join in, too

Even though you may not be able to attend Nerdtacular 11 in Salt Lake City, Utah this year, that doesn’t mean you can get in on some of the action.  The day long mini-convention is being streamed live (or at least a portion of it) for your enjoyment.

Major Spoilers is once again a sponsor for this year’s event, and most of the Critical Hit crew is here as well.

Nerdtacular Photo Parade

Man What A Day!  And it ain’t even over yet.  The first half of the My Extra Life Nerdtacular II was a huge success.  Everyone in the theater loved the Dark Knight.  There were prizes given away, a fountain of glow sticks pouring down on the audience, a chance to meet people from all over North America, and even the Dark Knigh his bad self showed up.

And yes, some of them actually know about Major Spoilers.

So without further adieu, here’s a portion of the photos taken at today’s event.

I’ve got my HD camera with me today, and I plan on capturing a lot of the festivities, we’ll see if I get around to posting that video – I promise I won’t be in it the next time (wink).

Nerdtaclar II Gets Wii

For those of you who are interested in the Nerdtacular II event hosted by Scott Johnson at MyExtraLife (and sponsored by your very own Major Spoilers), you might be interested to know there are going to be some great prizes at the event. The biggest so far is a Nintendo Wii.

A lucky Nerdtacular attendee will receive one of these bad boys in a drawing before the movie. How cool is that? Too cool, that’s how cool. I wish I could give the donator more props but he want’s to remain anonymous.

Cool indeed. Keep a sharp eye out for the ticket give-away, they’ll go fast.
